This fall, the Unitarian Universalist church of the North Hills will be starting a new Sunday School program called "Spirit Play," for the Kindergarten class.
There will be a parent-child orientation on September 16, at 10:30 am.Â
In "Spirit Play," children are warmly greeted by an adult doorkeeper. A trained adult story teller presents a story in a prescribed way to foster children's wonderings, encouraging them to discern their own meaning from the story.

Children are then given the freedom to select from a variety of activities in the classroom to further engage the story. Stories relate to the 7 Unitarian Universalist Principles and often explore "The Mystery Some People Call God."
Anyone interested in learning more about the program may call the church at 412-366-0244 and speak to Greta Porter, Religious Educator, or visit the church website at www.uucnh.org.
