Ghost Hunting, Psychic Vincent Sisters Appearing at Cranberry Library
Back again for the popular library program, the sisters have been featured on A&E's Psychic Investigators show.

New York may have “Long Island Medium” Theresa Caputo, but Butler County has the Vincent sisters, a pair of psychic investigators who’ve been featured on the A&E Biography Channel.
“We’re actually better than the Long Island Medium,” said Suzanne Vincent.
Along with her sister, Jean McKenzie Vincent, Vincent will be appearing at the Cranberry Public Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 to talk about the unsolved cases they’ve worked on and to do a few psychic readings on members of the audience.

“Last year, we picked five people and did readings,” Vincent said. “Everyone said it was very, very accurate.”
Attendees also are encouraged to bring unusual photos for the sisters to examine. In addition to doing psychic investigations, the sisters are ghost hunters. Vincent said she and her sister often get readings from orbs or mist in photographs. They also are planning to launch their own online ghost hunting television series.

“I’m a ghost magnet, unfortunately,” McKenzie Vincent said with a laugh.
This is the third year in a row the sisters have appeared at the library, and the event is a popular one. Reservations are required for the program.
“It was standing room only,” Vincent said of last year’s event, adding people had to be turned away because there was no more room. “The more the better.”
After beginning to explore their psychic abilities at a young age, the sisters said they have worked as mediums for three decades. Throughout the years, Vincent said they’ve assisted on some of the nation’s most high-profile murder investigations, including the disappearance and death of little Caylee Anthony in Florida.
The sisters also were featured on the “Fatal Extraction” episode of the A&E show Psychic Investigators.
The episode profiles the 2006 murder of dentist John Yelenic in Blairsville, Indiana County. After being consulted by the dentist’s neighbor, the sisters are seen on the show talking about their intuition that someone in law enforcement committed the brutal crime.
In 2009, former state trooper Kevin Foley, the boyfriend of Yelnic’s estranged wife, was convicted of the murder.
The sisters plan to talk about these cases and more at the Cranberry event.
“People ask about the other cases and the local cases and we’ll break down the process of how we do it,” McKenzie Vincent said.
Although the event is free, the sisters do ask for donations for the Butler County Humane Society and for the Cranberry Library.
“It’s a great place,” Vincent said.
