Great Escape: Martinis and Manicures

Here’s an escape that’s tailor-made for you and your girlfriends to enjoy together – and you’ll wonder why no one thought of it sooner!

On March 21, in Seven Fields will play host to its first Martini Manicure Monday event. From 5:30 to 8 p.m., you can enjoy a delicious specialty martini while relaxing with a mini-manicure from the expert estheticians at Eikon Hair Lounge in Wexford – all for just $15

“It’s a nice, relaxing evening out. You can come with your girlfriends and have a drink and something to eat,” said Siba manager Rudy Mogush.

The event will be held in the restaurant’s private banquet room, and servers will be available to take your drink order. Cosmopolitans always are a favorite, as are the restaurant’s flavored martinis. The Honeydew Martini, in particular, will make you think of blue skies and warm breezes. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a decadent Chocolate Martini. If one isn’t enough to take the edge off, additional martinis are just $5 each.

Sip your drink and chat with you friends while you enjoy your mini-manicure. It includes a hand massage, shaping and a fresh coat of polish. Salon manager Stephen Graham said peachy pink and coral colors are popular this spring. He suggested trying out CND polish’s Tropical Coral for a burst of juicy color.

If all that pampering makes you hungry, you can order from the restaurant’s tapas bar menu. Try calamari, crab cake sliders, Tuscan nachos or zucchini straws. Tapas are $6.50 each.

Mogush said response to the event has been strong. The first Martini Manicure Monday garnered more than 20 reservations before it was canceled due to a snowstorm. Assuming response in March also is strong, Siba plans to offer the event every third Monday of the month.
