Kid-Friendly Hair Salon Opens In Cranberry
Philip Pelusi this isn't. Cookie Cutters caters specifically to children.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Hair salons may offer patrons a cup of coffee or perhaps a danish, but seldom do they have a playground complete with a slide. Cookie Cutters, which just opened at 20325 Route 19 in Cranberry, is the exception.
A salon that caters specifically to kids, Cookie Cutters doesn’t have typical barber chairs. Instead, they get to sit in race cars and motorcycles, firetrucks and airplanes. There also are TVs for clients to watch their favorite shows or play video games. When the cut is complete, the child leaves with a balloon and lollipop.
“Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again,” said Traci Hockenberry, who owns and operates the new salon with her husband, Greg.”We strive to help all kids discover how much fun a haircut can be.”
