Georgie Smigel named to the 2016 REAL Trends America's Best Real Estate Agents list

Georgie Smigel, a sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Cranberry Township office, was named to the 2016 REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents list, a ranking report that identifies the most productive real estate agents by state and metropolitan area based on closed transaction sides and sales volume. She was ranked No. 6 in Pennsylvania based on sales volume, closing more than $40 million in sales volume in 2015. Additionally, Smigel closed 115 transactions sides in 2015, placing her at No. 18 in the state for transaction sides.

Earlier this year, Butler County resident Smigel was recognized for her 2015 sales achievements with the Coldwell Banker® International President's Premier award, a distinguished honor awarded to the top 1 percent of approximately 85,000 Coldwell Banker®-affiliated sales associates worldwide.

Smigel ranked among the nation’s top real estate professionals on the 2015 REAL Trends “The Thousand” report, as advertised in The Wall Street Journal. The annual report ranks America's top 1,000 residential real estate agents and teams based on 2014 annual sales volume and transaction sides. With 129 closed transaction sides in 2014, Smigel ranked No. 240 in the U.S.

REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents ranks over 12,000 residential real estate professionals solely based on their excellence in real estate sales during calendar year 2015. All production numbers are independently verified by a third-party in order to ensure accuracy and report integrity. This group of highly successful real estate sales agents represents less than 1 percent of all real estate practitioners in the United States.

To qualify for inclusion, an individual agent must have closed at least 50 transaction sides or $20 million in sales volume in 2015. For real estate agent teams, the minimum is 75 transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume. Information on those receiving this recognition can be found online at http://www.americasbestre.com.

“It’s truly an honor to be named alongside the top real estate professionals from across state.” said Smigel. “Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with many customers and clients who have put their trust in me while on their homeownership journey. I’m very proud to be acknowledged for my accomplishments.”

The real estate professionals are ranked in four categories:

• Individual agent — Sales volume

• Individual agent — Transaction sides (in each real estate transaction there are two sides that can be represented by a real estate agent: the buy side and the selling side)

• Agent team — Sales volume

• Agent team — Transaction sides
