Seneca Valley High School Gets New Assistant Principal

Say hello to Amanda Augustine, Seneca Valley students and parents.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - When the new school year begins, Seneca Valley High School will have a new assistant principal. The district has hired Amanda Augustine for the position.

Augustine has spent the past four years as the cyber coordinator for the Hempfield Area School District in Westmoreland County, where she directed online learning and teacher trainings. Augustine also has been a learning support teacher for Fort Allen Elementary School in Hempfield and an emotional support teacher at Rostraver Elementary School in the Belle Vernon Area School District.

“I am truly honored and beyond grateful to join this prestigious culture of excellence,” she said in a district release. “I am so excited to become a part of the Seneca Valley community and am looking forward to working with our students, teachers, staff, and families this upcoming school year.”

Augustine has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, along with her elementary, special and early education teaching certifications from Seton Hill University. She holds a master’s degree in education Argosy University; and her Pennsylvania principal certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
