Seneca Valley Hires New Buildings And Grounds Director
Randy Miller joins the district from the private sector.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - The Seneca Valley School District has named Randy Miller the district’s new buildings and grounds director.
Miller replaces Robert Cook, who resigned earlier this month to pursue other opportunities.
“We welcome Mr. Miller’s experience and expertise from the architectural/construction industry, especially as we embark on two large building projects in the District,” superintendent Tracy Vitale said in a statement. “He brings to the table a wealth of knowledge that will allow us to move through the foreseeable future in a smooth and effective way.”
Miller has worked for the past two years as a project manager for FedEx Ground Corp. in Moon Township. There, he was responsible for managing the development and design of facilities, sites, buildings and material handling systems for expansions and new hubs-stations for the gulf region. He has worked with all phases of design and construction, including project budgets.
Miller also has seven years experience as director of construction administration at Architectural Innovations in Pittsburgh; four years as project manager with Eckles Architecture in New Castle; two years as project manager and specifications writer for Foreman Architect and Engineers in Zelienople; and 14 years as project manager and architect for Richard N. Manns, Architect P.C. in Munhall.
Miller has a bachelor’s degree in architectural studies from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Construction Specifications Institute.
