Seneca Valley Jazz Ensemble Plans Tribute To Ol' Blue Eyes

Several notable Pittsburgh singers will perform with the ensemble.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - If you’re already weary of all the holiday songs and music, here’s a nice alternative: The Seneca Valley jazz ensemble will perform a tribute to the late Frank Sinatra in the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School auditorium on Dec.13 at 7:30 p.m.

Pittsburgh artists Pete Hewlett and Lisa Bleil will be guest vocal artists with Jazz Ensemble I. Sophomores Sarah McKinley and Sam O’Neill will sing with Jazz Ensemble II and eighth grader Rachel Henne will sing with the Ryan Gloyer Middle School Jazz Ensemble.

“It promises to be a memorable night of great performances by both students and professionals,” Seneca Valley performing arts coordinator Varden Armstrong said in a district release.

Tickets for the performance are $5 and can be ordered here.
