Seneca Valley Planning Tribute Night For Vets, Military Personnel

They'll be recognized at the Raiders' first home football game in September.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - If you’re a veteran or an active member of the military, the Seneca Valley School District wants you to know the community appreciates your service.

A Veteran Recognition Day again will be held during the first Raider home football game on Sept. 8, and veterans or active military personnel who live in the district are encouraged to participate. Before the team warms up, vets will join the team in the Raiders Field House locker room to adhere American flag stickers to the players’ helmets.

During a pregame ceremony, vets will gather on the NexTier Stadium track to be recognized for their service. They also will receive free admission and special seating and parking accommodations for the game.
