Seneca Valley Schools Hires Assistant Athletic Director
Dave Fuhrman comes to the district from the Bradford Area Schools.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - The Seneca Valley School District has hired Dave Fuhrman as its new athletic-activities assistant director. Fuhrman succeeds Dan Follett, who left to become the athletic director for the Slippery Rock Area School District.
Fuhrman comes to Seneca Valley from the Bradford Area School District, where he spent the past two years as the athletic director-facility coordinator. While at Bradford Area, he also served in various roles, including substitute teacher and junior varsity coach for boys’ basketball and softball. Fuhrman also obtained coaching and athletic department experience in the Quaker Valley School District.
“From a very talented and deep applicant pool, David’s resume stood out in terms of experience and philosophy. He further confirmed his strengths during an extensive interview process,” Heather Lewis, Seneca Valley’s athletic-activities director, said in a district release. “I’m very much looking forward to working with David and I believe the Seneca Valley community will be thrilled when they have a chance to meet David and work with him.”
Fuhrman earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in sport Management from Robert Morris University. He earned his master’s degree in sport management studies with a concentration in intercollegiate athletic administration from California University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of both the state and national athletic directors/administrators associations.
