Seneca Valley Senior Wins Two Regional Emmys
Alex Collinger lauded for his work as a student producer and camera operator.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Alex Collinger, a senior at Seneca Valley Senior High School, seemingly has a bright future in TV production. Collinger recently won two regional Emmys for his work as a student producer and camera operator.
The award were won for two films: “The Reel Teens: Arts and Entertainment” under the Arts and Entertainments/Cultural Affairs category and “The Reel Teens: Remake Learning” under the Long Form- Non-Fiction category.
Now in its 15th year, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Mid-Atlantic Chapter’s High School Student awards are intended to recognize outstanding cultural, educational, technological, entertainment, news and informational achievements by high school students.
Collinger is a member of the Reel Teens Pittsburgh. The group is part of Steeltown’s Youth and Media Program, which exposes students around southwestern Pennsylvania to the possibility of fulfilling careers in media and entertainment.
