Seneca Valley Students' Artwork Displayed At Slippery Rock

Three students received portfolio scholarships for their work.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Fifteen Seneca Valley Senior High School students were accepted into a juried art show at Slippery Rock University’s 2017 Regional High School Art Exhibition that was on display at the Martha Gault Gallery.

Seniors Erin Piotrowski, Lauren George and Sarah Kosakowski were chosen to receive portfolio scholarships to SRU based on the portfolios they submitted.

The best in show award was awarded to senior Jack Reynolds for photography. Senior Blake Mercer received an honorable mention for ceramics.

Students work that was on display included Reece Basehore, Gracie Carothers, Sarah Kosakowski, Corin Trejchel, Emma Perdue, Amelia Reese, Isabella Moosa, Lauren George, Paige Biordi, Kelsey Gianfrancesco, Liz Koromaus, Angelina Kennedy, Erin Piotrowski, Jack Reynolds and Blake Mercer.

All students were under the direction of senior high school art teachers Jason Woolslare, Jason Shorr and Megan Bonistailli.
