Statement by Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau on Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival Transition

Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau (BCTCB) is announcing that the transition process is underway for the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival to become its own independent, nonprofit organization.

Recognizing the opportunity to promote Butler County as the birthplace of the Jeep and capitalize on Butler County’s Jeep heritage for tourism and economic development purposes, Jack Cohen, President of BCTCB conceptualized the formation of the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival. In 2009, a management team was created to organize and execute the first annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival to take place in 2011, with the intention of the bureau running the event for five consecutive years.

BCTCB is proud that after five successful years and extraordinary growth, the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival has become a part of the fabric of the community.

“The Jeep Festival has shown substantial growth and economic impact for Butler County and it’s clear that it now requires increased attention,” said Cohen. “I’m pleased to see this beloved event take on a new life of its own and I wish it many more years of success and continued prosperity for the Butler County community.”
