About Steve Katz

   Steve Katz was first in the Even Dozen Jug Band. He moved onto the Danny Kalb band
and, with Danny & Al Kooper, became an original member of the Blues
Project. After their breakup at the Monterey Pop Festival he and Al formed
Blood, Sweat, & Tears. He stayed with that band for 5 years and the sales
of millions of albums. After BS&T he went out to produce 2 Lou Reed
albums and then joined Eric Kaz (Blues Magoos and songwriter of some note)
and Craig Fuller (Pure Prairie League & Little Feat) to form American
Flyer. Plan on a full and fun evening with us. In brief, the
evening is a living memoir of one of the most fascinating periods in the
history of American music.
