UPMC Leases Space in Cranberry Business Park

The former postage facility will house office supplies.

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has plans to lease a nearly 150,000-square-foot building on Keystone Drive in Cranberry's Thorn Hill Industrial Park.

UPMC spokeswoman Susan Manko said the building, a former bulk postage facility, would be used for storage and distribution of various supplies though UPMC. She said it would not store biomedical supplies.

This will be the medical center's second storage facility. Manko said UPMC would continue to use a similar distribution and warehouse center located on Pittsburgh’s South Side.

“The building in Cranberry is an expansion of our current supply chain distribution services,” she said.

Manko said she could not disclose the terms of the lease. According to the Pittsburgh Business Times, Lou Oliva, a senior vice president for the Pittsburgh office of Grubb & Ellis who represents the property’s owner, Stag Capital Partners, said the building could be occupied within the next few months.
