• Voters re-elect Marc Anderson to 92nd state House seat (timesonline.com) — Dillsburg voters will continue to be represented in Harrisburg by Republican Marc Anderson, who won re-election to the 92nd state House District over Democrat Krista Jean Anderson. He’s pledging to focus on education standards, school choice tax credits, and government reform, while his opponent campaigned on raising the minimum wage and tightening legislative accountability.
   

• Local social service agency seeks donation of 1,500 turkeys to help provide for families in need this Thanksgiving (fox43.com) — New Hope Ministries, based in Dillsburg, is urgently asking local residents to donate fresh or frozen turkeys so it can still collect 1,500 more and provide Thanksgiving dinners to 4,500 low-income families. Donations and volunteer help are needed at its 10 locations, including Dillsburg, through November 18, supporting thousands of neighbors with food and other essential services.
   

• Apply now for TFEC Community Equity Grants (Pennsylvania) (fundsforngos.org) — Nonprofits serving the Dillsburg area of northern York County can now apply for Community Equity Grants from The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, with awards ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. The program supports efforts addressing systemic injustice, resource inequities, and community leadership, and is open to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations or those with a fiscal sponsor through February 1, 2027.
