• Veteran Firefighter Tapped to Lead Pittsburgh Fire Department (firehouse.com) — Dormont residents may recognize a familiar name as former Dormont fire chief Mat Davis has been officially promoted to lead the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, after serving as acting chief. Davis, who began his firefighting career with the Dormont Fire Department in 2004, now oversees citywide fire operations as Pittsburgh also confirms two other key administrative leaders.
