Action, Impulsivity, and Enactment: Understanding and Treating Children with Challenging Behaviors
A child’s hyperactive, impulsive, or explosive behavior can be the most challenging for teachers, parents, caregivers, and therapists. What does it take to work successfully with children with these behaviors? What kind of support do teachers, caregivers and therapists need to work effectively? These questions will be addressed through case presentations and discussion by BGSP faculty supervisors and conference participants. Presentations will address working with children in private practice and in a school setting. Workshops will offer the opportunity for participants to address individual case examples.
