Hollywood Theater to Host Film Features Saturday
A series of locally produced short films will play at the Hollywood in Dormont, Saturday night only.

in Dormont will host “A Night of Altered Reality” Saturday, Dec. 3 from 7 to 10 p.m.
The event will feature four locally made short films. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Cast and crew of all films will be admitted at no charge. Proceeds benefit the Women in Film and Media Pittsburgh Chapter Scholarship Fund.

Ghost Searchers
(Noel Marie Schermaier, 12 min.)
Edgar, lead investigator for a ghost hunting reality series finds he has more to worry about than the show getting canned when he suspects someone from his research team of compromising the integrity of the investigation.
Mercury In Tuna
(Kristen Lauth Shaeffer, 10 min.)
Avery Sutton lives a life that is governed by her fears. When a stranger asks for help, she ignores him, but begins to question her choices.
Lightweight

Elizabeth thought she was coming back to Pittsburgh for a family funeral and a few days visit with her mom. But her boyfriend dumps her almost immediately upon meeting a house full of embarrassing relatives. She is left stunned, unmoored – and essentially homeless. Suddenly adrift, Elizabeth becomes so disconnected that she feels like she's floating away. Or is she?
The Light in the Shadows

It is 1948, a famous actress Joan Desmond and detective Chandler Harrison are suspiciously killed. A mysterious box is stolen from a wealthy Austrian Archeologist Uli Erlkoening, and he hires the detective's wife Jane Harrison to find it, under the guise that the mysterious box had something to do with her husband's death. Through Jane's journey, she uncovers the light of truth hidden in the shadows
of betrayal.
