Keystone Oaks Teacher Named PSEA President

Michael Crossey, a Keystone Oaks special education teacher, will assume the role Sept. 1.

Michael Crossey, a Keystone Oaks special education teacher, was recently selected president of the Pennsylvania State Education Association, beginning Sept. 1.

Crossey, the group's vice president, was chosen at PSEA’s House of Delegates convention in Philadelphia on May 13-14. He will succeed James Testerman, a science teacher from York County.

Crossey has served more than 20 years as a local association president and has served at the state level as a member of the PSEA political action committee for education and the PSEA state legislative committee.

Crossey graduated from Duquesne University and has two master’s degrees and a reading specialist certificate. He has earned seven areas of certification and taught at all levels in the Keystone Oaks School District, most often serving as the high school emotional support program teacher.
