William Shatner, Mr. Rogers, and the Three Stooges, This Weekend at the Hollywood

It's a weekend of special events at the Hollywood Theater!

This weekend, Dormont’s is celebrating tales of the unknown, the kind and the just plain goofy.

In celebration of William Shatner’s birthday, Thursday is dedicated to a Star Trek double feature. “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” starts at 7 p.m., with an encore showing at 9:15 p.m.

Friday is a special event to celebrate the birthday of Fred Rogers. The documentary “Speedy Delivery” (2008) will show at 7 p.m. —will be at the theater for discussion and autograph signing. A sweater drive will be held throughout the evening, and those who bring a sweater to donate will receive a free small popcorn. Tickets are $10 and proceeds benefit the Friends of Hollywood Theater.

Horror film “The Complex” (2012), starring Clay McKendree, Christy Mele and Josh Spiegel will run Saturday evening.

Sunday is a day for laughs—“Three Stooges” shorts will run all afternoon.
