• Downingtown Teen Faces Race to Fund Diabetes Treatment (mychesco.com) — A Downingtown family is racing to raise $45,000 by January so 15-year-old Preston, a Downingtown East student with Type 1 diabetes, can pursue an investigational stem-cell-based therapy before his eligibility window closes. The treatment, offered through a New Jersey clinical trial, is not FDA-approved, but his parents hope it could ease his daily burden of monitoring, injections, and blood-sugar swings.
