• Community mourns deaths in Downingtown fiery fatal accident (delcotimes.com) — A deadly single-vehicle crash on East Lancaster Avenue near the Downingtown Log House killed two women and has shaken the borough, with officials praising bystanders and first responders who tried to save them. Downingtown police are still investigating the cause and are asking anyone who witnessed the fiery collision to contact the department with information. 
• Downingtown West edges Unionville in Ches-Mont crossover (dailylocal.com) — Downingtown sports fans got a boost as Downingtown West's field hockey team edged Unionville 2–1 at home, with goals in the second and third periods. Coaches and players say the early-season win is helping a young Whippets squad build chemistry and confidence as they adjust after graduating many seniors.
