107th Annual Tree Lighting In Perkasie Is Saturday Night
Music, stories, food, Santa, carriage rides, and more will ensure holiday cheer for all in attendance.

Over 100 years of tradition will continue Saturday in Perkasie, as the 107th Peraksie tree lighting will be held at the evening of Dec. 3.
The annual event kicks off at 5 p.m. and Santa Claus will arrive at 7 p.m. to light the tree.
Live music, carriage and horse rides, food, and more will be featured at the event to spread holiday joy to all in attendance.

Check out the schedule of events set for Saturday's tree lighting:
- 5 p.m. – Event Opens. Horse and Carriage Rides begin
- 5:30 p.m. –The Mayor of Perkasie, John Hollenbach, reads “T’was the Night Before Christmas”
- 5:45 p.m. – Carols and Holiday music from the Pennridge South Middle School Choir
- 6:15 p.m. – Rocking Holiday music from Mike Greer & Co.
- 7 p.m. – Santa arrives to light the tree. Photos with Santa are available after the lighting at the RE/MAX440 building at 7th & Market
- 7:20 p.m. – More music, food and fun
- 8 p.m. – Event closes

The Ring the Rafters Barbershop Quartet will be serenading visitors around town and local churches will be serving hot cocoa, hot cider and treats.
Parking restrictions go into effect at 2 p.m. and road closures begin at 4 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.
The following roads are affected:
- 7th St. from Chestnut Street to Arch Street
- 6th St. from Chestnut Street to Market Street
- Market St. from 8th Street to 6th Street
- Chestnut St. from 7th Street to 6th Street
- Market Alley is closed at 7th Street
