2 Arrested On Retail Theft Charges In Warrington Township
Man found lying on the sidewalk charged with possession of a controlled substance.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warrington Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Nov. 20 and 24:
November 20
- On November 20 at approximately 5:18 p.m., officers responded to Wegmans for the report of a retail theft in progress. Loss prevention observed two suspects later identified as Kristin Haines and Andrew Goold select numerous items and concealing them in reusable bags in a shopping cart, police said. Haines and Goold passed all points of sale and exited the store while failing to pay for the $230.80 worth of merchandise, said police. Haines and Goold were processed and released.

- On November 23 at approximately 2:55 a.m., police responded to the area of Street Road and Maple Avenue for the report of a man lying half on the sidewalk and half in the grass. Upon arrival police located Lewis Stephen Cousins unresponsive and lying face down on the ground. Cousins regained consciousness and displayed signs of intoxication. Cousins was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest, processed and later transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility for a probation violation. He is being charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness or similar misconduct.
