LAHASKA, PA — Lovers of wine and wizardry will be excited about these newest additions to Peddler's Village: Fantasy store The Cloak and Wand will open in early June, and Nissley Vineyards plans to open in early July, the Village said.

The Cloak and Wand "is a fantasy store dedicated to the wizards and witches of folklore, myth, and literature," according to a news release. The Peddler's Village location will be the store's second: the original is still open in Mystic, Conn.

"In addition to cloaks, wands, brooms, books, enchanted plants, and magical items and apparel, the shop includes a potion bar at which guests can order specially brewed custom potions," the news release said.

Nissley Vineyards is a family-owned winery hailing from Lancaster County.

"Nissley Vineyards offers a full portfolio of wines, ranging from sweet blends to premium barrel-aged varietals—as well as 'fun' additions such as canned sparkling wines, wine slushies, and specialty wine," Peddler's Village said.

“We couldn’t be happier about the addition of these two inventive and forward-thinking businesses to our lineup of specialty shops in Peddler’s Village,” said Bob McGowan, CEO. “Both The Cloak and Wand and Nissley Vineyards have impressive track records in other locations of drawing first-time visitors. They’re also very adept in providing a high level of customer service and cultivating longtime relationships, which is a very important part of the Peddler’s Village ethos.”

The Village is almost fully leased, with just one vacant store. The 42-acre destination offers shopping, dining, lodging, and family entertainment.

Peddler's Village is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with a number of free giveaways, ranging from overnight stays to Village shop baskets.

The 60th Anniversary giveaways are free to enter at PeddlersVillage.com.

There are also a number of events to celebrate this milestone:

"In May, Peddler’s Village is presenting Strawberry Month, which will be followed in June by Summer Block Party weekends, in July by Bluegrass and Blueberries Month, and in August by Peach Month," the Village said. "This year, in celebration of its 60th anniversary, the Village will also be presenting a blockbuster summer event: Bucks County Beach Days: Sand Sculptures in the Village, funded in part by Visit Bucks County. This free event, which begins in early June, will feature larger-than-life sand sculptures and play-all-day sandboxes."
