Car Crashes Into Farm Machinery Headed For A-Day In Doylestown

The two-vehicle accident blocked the highway for a significant time Friday morning in the area of the Route 202 exit.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Route 611 at State Street has reopened following a morning crash involving a farm combine being transported to A-Day at Delaware Valley University.

The accident happened just before 9 a.m. in the southbound lanes near West State Street when a car apparently struck the rear of the John Deere farm combine being transported to the nearby university.

A-Day is the university's annual celebration of agriculture and farming, which opened today on the university's campus.
