20-Plus Mysterious Bucks Co. Explosions Confirmed By State Police
State Police confirmed there have been 20-plus mysterious overnight explosions in Upper Bucks Co. The investigation is ongoing, tips needed.

Pennsylvania State Police on Tuesday confirmed more than 20 unexplained explosions have occurred in Upper Bucks County since early April, and law enforcement is taking the situation "very seriously."
State Police — the lead in the investigation into the mysterious blasts — did not offer any information on what is causing the explosions, which have been alarming the community for weeks now.
In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police spokesman Marc W. Allen said law enforcement agencies are taking these events "very seriously" and are working diligently in the investigation. The 20-plus explosions have been reported throughout Upper Bucks County, from Quakertown to Point Pleasant, since April 2.

"Keeping everyone safe is our shared number one priority. Fortunately to date no one has been injured; however, we are attempting to prevent someone from accidentally getting injured by these explosions, including the individual responsible," State Police said.
Allen said the explosions are disrupting emergency response personnel from normal duties, and straining local resources.
He said State Police is "counting on assistance from members of our community to keep our counties safe."

Bucks County residents from Quakertown to Point Pleasant and even in New Britain Township have reported hearing explosions numerous times over the past several weeks. The resident in New Britain Township told Patch the repeated explosions have left a crack in the wall in her home.
For now, the cause and source of the loud explosions remains undetermined.
