3 New Jersey Residents Face Retail Theft Charges In Warrington

Police said they entered a township store, selected items, removed the security tags, and then exited the store without paying.

WARRINGTON, PA — Three New Jersey residents face retail theft charges following an incident in Warrington Township.

According to police, the three individuals from Paterson, New Jersey, entered the TJ Maxx Store on Main Street at 9 p.m. and proceeded to select numerous items worth $539.

Police said they then removed the security tags and exited the store without paying for the merchandise. They were stopped by store personnel and were later identified by police on an unrelated incident in Solebury Township.

The New Jersey residents have been charged with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy to receive stolen property.

A criminal complaint was filed with District Court.
