6-Car Crash On Swamp Road As Storm Wallops Doylestown
Breaking: A six-car crash has been reported on Swamp Road, and multiple other roads have closed due to downed wires and trees.

The storm is having serious impacts on the Doylestown area. Downed wires and trees have closed roads, and a six-car crash has just been reported on Swamp Road. SEPTA regional rail service on the Doylestown line has been suspended.
Around 1:30 p.m., police were en route to a six-car crash on Swamp Road near Brentwood Drive, according to Buckingham Township Emergency Management. "Road conditions continue to deteriorate. Use extreme caution," that agency tweeted.
A Winter Weather Advisory has now been called for Bucks County, and will remain in place until 10 p.m. Friday. Snow will be heavy at times with "near whiteout conditions," the NWS said. "With strong winds, power outages are likely. Snowfall amounts will be highly elevation dependent."

Central Bucks has canceled all after-school activities.
A portion of Rt. 413 is closed in the area of Buckingham Valley Seafood to Lower Mountain Road due to downed wires, according to authorities in Buckingham. Also, Holicong Road is closed at Upper Mountain Rd due to a downed tree, according to authorities in Buckingham.

Thousands are without power; more than 41,000 power outages have been reported in Bucks County and the numbers are only rising. Across the Philadelphia region, there are now more than 222,000 outages. PPL is reporting 110,000 or more in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.
SEPTA suspended several of its regional rail lines, including Doylestown and Warminster.
A downed tree on wires on Taylorsville Road have been reported between Mt. Eyre Road and Aqueduct Road in Upper Makefield. Taylorsville Road is closed and the power is out, police said.
