6 Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Bucks County
Cirque Italia will wow the crowds at the Neshaminy Mall while visitors to Peddler's Village experience a Stories In Sand Kickoff Weekend.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The first weekend in June brings an array of activities to the Bucks County countryside from awesome sand sculptures at Peddler's Village to the Magical World Of Cirque Italia at the Neshaminy Mall.
In conjunction with National Cheese Day, the Bucks County Wine Trail will celebrate the perfect pairing on Sunday with a self-guided, one-of-a-kind wine and cheese tasting experience. And they'll do it again on Sunday, June 11.
Also taking place this weekend is the Chalfont Challenge 5K Race, part of the Bucks 5K Race Series; Community Day in Dublin Borough; and a “We Are One Family Carnival” at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Doylestown.

Bucks County Wine Trail To Celebrate The Perfect Pairing
Like peanut butter and jelly and cookies and milk, wine and cheese make the perfect pairing. Guests of the Bucks County Wine Trail will have the chance to sample three unique cheese and wine pairings at each of the eight member locations on select Sundays in June. This first-ever trail-wide offering kicks off on Sunday, June 4 – which happens to be National Cheese Day – and concludes on Sunday, June 11. Visitors can opt to make stops along the Bucks County Wine Trail on June 4, June 11, or on both days. The self-guided wine and cheese tasting experience provides one visit to each winery (and cidery) per ticket. Each Bucks County Wine Trail location will feature special pairings of three wines (or ciders) complemented by three unique cheeses from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 4 and Sunday, June 11. Locations will feature unique cheese-centric dips from Newtown-based BowlFace, as well as cheeses from September Farm Cheese, Dietz & Watson, Keystone Farms Cheese and wide-ranging cheese varieties, including French brie, Danish blue cheese, and drunken goat cheese, just to name a few. Guests can enjoy wine and cheese pairings at: Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery, 2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie; Buckingham Valley Vineyards, 1521 Durham Road, Buckingham; Crossing Vineyards and Winery, 1853 Wrightstown Road, Newtown; Manoff Market Cidery, 3157 Comfort Road, New Hope; Rose Bank Winery, 258 Durham Road, Newtown; Rushland Ridge Vineyards, 2665 Rushland Road, Jamison; Sand Castle Winery, 755 River Road, Erwinna; and Vino by Zzino at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery. Additional wine and cider tastings, wine and cider by the glass or bottle, as well as wine slushies and cocktails (at some locations) will be available for purchase. Stories In Sand Kickoff Weekend At Peddler's Village In Lahaska
For the second year, Peddler’s Village in Lahaska is hosting a major summer-long event featuring large sand sculptures. Free and open to the public through August 31, "Stories in Sand" showcases six exceptionally tall sculptures created by three world-renowned master sand sculptors. The spectacular sculptures pay homage to stories and characters revered for generations: Brothers Grimm fairy tales, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, Winnie-the-Pooh, Mother Goose stories, and Alice in Wonderland. Sandboxes designed for family play will also be placed throughout the property. On June 3 and 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Peddler’s Village will present a Stories in Sand Kickoff Weekend with free admission that will include live musical performances, including by The Big Chill, Barefoot Bobby and the Breakers, and Plenty of Pepper Trio, outdoor food and drinks, pony rides and a petting zoo, and family activities. "By popular demand, we brought back some of the world’s best sand artists to create another spectacular sand display,” said Bob McGowan, chief operating officer of Peddler’s Village. “We hope that during their visit to Peddler’s Village this summer, our guests will enjoy not only these mesmerizing depictions of famous stories, but will also create their own personal stories to remember for a lifetime.” Peddler’s Village will be open every day this summer. "We Are One Family Carnival" At Our Lady of Guadalupe
A “We Are One Family Carnival” will be held on Sunday, June 4 from 12 to 4 p.m. following the 11 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Campus, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown 18902. The afternoon includes carnival games, entertainment, activities, food, inflatables, prizes, crafts and more. There is no admission charge to attend. All are welcome to come stroll and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the carnival. Tickets for food, inflatables, crafts and activities are cash only. A dedicated quiet zone (or low sensory environment) will be available inside the Parish Life Center during the carnival. The event will be held rain or shine.

Dublin Borough To Celebrate Community Day
Dublin Community Day takes place on Saturday, June 3 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Supplee Park on Middle Road, Dublin. Featured will be a Beer Garden and winery for anyone 21 and older, a food court, DJ Adam Finger, rides for children, photo booth, vendors and more. Temple Medevac will be landing around 4 p.m. for everyone to view and tour. A free shuttle to and from the park will be available from the Dublin Fire Co. The event is free.

Chalfont Challenge 5K To Celebrate Town's 122nd Birthday
The Chalfont Challenge 5K Race (part of the Bucks 5K Series) steps off on Saturday, June 3 at 40 North Main Street in Chalfont Borough. The 31st running of the Chalfont Challenge 5K and Fun Run is a celebration of Chalfont’s 122nd birthday. Funds raised this year will help construct a section of the North Branch Neshaminy Trail in Chalfont. Drawing more than 200 participants, everyone is welcome to come out and join the borough for this fun event. The one mile Fun Run begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K race starts at 8:30 a.m.. Register online or in person at the Borough offices, 40 N. Main Street in Chalfont.

The Magical World of Cirque Italia At The Neshaminy Mall
Cirque Italia will be at the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem through Sunday. The White & Blue Big Top Tent can be spotted in the parking lot of the former Sears as the Neshaminy Mall presents "The Magical World Of Cirque!" Cirque Italia will be bringing its Gold Unit water show to Bucks County with a stage that holds 35,000 gallons of water that performers dazzle over while thrilling the audience with every move. Starting with its creation in 2012, the Water Circus has advanced into one of the most innovative traveling shows to be staged in the United States.Shows take place Thursday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 2 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 3 at 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 4 at 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased now with prices starting at $10 and going to $50, depending on availability.
