911 Audio From Penn State Frat House Death Released
The 42-second 911 call made 12 hours after a Penn State fraternity pledge fell down the stairs in February has been released.

STATE COLLEGE, PA — The audio of the 911 call placed by a Penn State fraternity brother 12 hours after a pledge was found unconscious during a party in February has been released. The audio from the 42-second call, made by Beta Theta Pi brother Ryan McCann, was released Monday by The Associated Press.
During the call, McCann, 21, who is charged with tampering with evidence in connection with the case, tells the dispatcher that Timothy Piazza, 19, is unconscious. He does not explain to the dispatcher that Piazza had fallen down a flight of stairs 12 hours earlier. He does admit alcohol was involved in Piazza's condition.
Piazza's fall happened during a bid acceptance night party on Feb. 2 that investigators said included hazing and excessive binge drinking. Piazza, a New Jersey native, died the next day after suffering from a head injury and ruptured spleen.
