Acme Closing Two Area Locations, Doylestown Store to Remain Open
The stores, in Warminster and New Britain Township, are expected to close by mid-November.
Acme supermarkets in Warminster and New Britain Township will close next month, according to a report in The Intelligencer.
No other stores in the region are expected to close, including locations in Horsham, Lansdale, Newtown and Doylestown.
Last year, Supervalu, Acme’s former parent company, sold the chain and four others to an investment group.

The Acme in Warminster is located at 808 E Street Road.
The New Britain Township location is on Butler Ave.
