After 3-Mile Pursuit, State Police Arrest Doylestown Man For DUI
Troopers also investigate counterfeit bill at Route 202 Toll Bridge,
DUBLIN, PA — The Dublin Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police reported the following incidents and arrests in the Doylestown area:
January 6
- Jeremy Ott, 29, of Doylestown, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. for DUI, fleeing and eluding police and additional misdemeanor charges. State Troopers said when they attempted to conduct a traffic stop at Birchwood Drive and Old Dublin Pike on Ott's 2010 Honda for summary offenses, the vehicle failed to stop and led Troopers on a three-plus mile pursuit. The vehicle eventually crashed into a utility pole after failing to negotiate a turn onto North Clinton Street from Avenue A in Doylestown Borough. Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department.

- Troopers were dispatched to the report of a fake $20 bill that was passed at the Route 202 toll booth in Solebury Township. The fake bill was used sometime between 3 and 11 p.m. by an unknown person.
- Troopers conducted a traffic stop in West Rockhill Township after observing a driver commit several traffic violations. The driver was found to be DUI and in possession of a concealed firearm.
