All Bucks County Schools To Close For 2 Weeks

UPDATE: Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf announced just after 3 p.m. Friday that all schools in the state must close for 10 business days due to the outbreak. MORE.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County Commissioners on Friday ordered a Declaration of Disaster Emergency, and have activated the county’s Emergency Management Center in response to the continuing coronavirus outbreak.

As a result, all Bucks County schools will close immediately through March 29, county officials have confirmed.

The closure could be extended further based on how the situation unfolds.

County government is not closing, Bucks County spokesman Larry King confirmed.
