Altercation Leads To Aggravated Assault Charge In Warrington
A victim sustained injuries, including swelling and bruising on the side of their face and eye and a bloody nose.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington man faces multiple charges following a domestic assault in the 900 block of Easton Road.
Police responded to the scene on Nov. 7 for a domestic altercation. When they arrived, they learned that the victim had slapped Otar Kartlelishvili in the face, which enraged him.
The 42-year-0ld Kartlelishvili then struck the victim multiple times with both an open hand and a closed fist knocking the victim to the ground, said police. Kartlelishvili continued to strike the victim in the head, police said.

Kartlelishvili was arrested and transported to the police station for processing. He was charged with aggravate assault, simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned by Judge Wertman who set bail at $50,000 or 10 percent cash.

Kartlelishvili was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Police responded to Wegmans for the report of a retail theft in September. Upon arrival loss prevention related that a 42-year-old man from Glenside selected $304.56 worth of merchandise and placed it in a shopping cart.
The man then exited the store failing to pay for the merchandise. Loss prevention confronted the man when he ran from the store.
On Nov. 9, police in Upper Moreland stopped the man and placed under arrest. He was transported back to the station where he was processed. The man was arraigned by Judge Armitage who set bail at $5,000 unsecured.
