Woman Arrested For Assault On Healthcare Worker: Doylestown Twp. Police Report

The April police report lists crashes, DUI arrests, theft and assault cases, and a warning about a renewed phone scam.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Doylestown Township Police Department reported 852 incidents during April and issued 114 traffic citations, 150 traffic warnings, and investigated 37 traffic accidents.

Some of the notable calls during the month include the arrest of a 66-year-old woman for an assault on a healthcare employee, three arrests for DUI, and the seizure of cocaine and marijuana from patients at Doylestown Hospital.

  1. On April 12, police investigated the theft of a mislaid wallet at Central Park and the subsequent unauthorized use of stolen credit cards. A 44-year-old woman was identified and charged.
