Bucks County's Barbershop Chorus Does it Again!

Over October 12-13 the Mid-Atlantic District of the BARBERSHOP HARMONY SOCIETY (formerly SPEBSQSA) held their annual convention.  Quartets & Chorus' from New York to Virginia gathered to entertain each other, and be evaluated in the categories of Singing, Music & Performance.

Under the direction of Chuck Lower (a 50+ year member of the Society) and Stephanie Brictson (Master Director with Sweet Adolines, International), the BUCKS COUNTY COUNTRY GENTLEMEN Chorus has been slowly creeping into the limelight!

After three years as the Division AAA Platau Champs, Chapter President Rob France reports, "This years performance represents our very best singing; our score was once again above 70.  This means that we are now singing at... a AAAA level."

"In the BHS, a chorus can not attain higher than Platau AAAA.  As you can imagine, we are very pleased," stated Chas. Byram, V.P. of Program for the BCCG.  "We are constantly looking to improve ourselves and each other as we work together on our music.  Events such as Division and District Conventions, and our regular and Annual Show's help keep us fresh and constantly improving!"
