With over 40 years experience in the horticulture industry, John Story joins Peace Tree Farm, a wholesale USDA Certified Organic greenhouse in Kintnersville PA, as the General Manager and Education Director. Story, a Cornell University graduate in Agriculture & Ornamental Horticulture, is best known for the annuals and perennials he forces to perfection for clients displaying at the historic Philadelphia International Flower Show. Story is joining the Peace Tree team to share his production wisdom and expertise with Peace Tree's younger generation of growers, Joseph LaMent and Alex Traven. Throughout his career, Story has managed the greenhouses at Meadowbrook Farm in Abington Township PA, Robertson's Flowers in Philadelphia, and developed the perennial plug business at Gro-n-Sell in Chalfont. John Story is excited to educate and continue younger generation involvement in the horticulture industry at Peace Tree Farm, and to share his love for unique succulents and plants with Peace Tree's Garden Geek program.
