Anna Quindlen Coming To Bucks County Book Festival

DOYLESTOWN, PA — New York Times bestselling author and Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Quindlen will be the keynote author at the upcoming Bucks County Book Festival. The second Bucks County Book Festival will be held Oct. 12 and 13 in Doylestown.

Organizers announced Monday that "A Conversation with Anna Quindlen" will take place on Saturday, October 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Salem United Church of Christ, 186 East Court Street in Doylestown.

Quindlen is the author of nine novels — "Object Lessons," "One True Thing," "Black and Blue," "Blessings," "Rise and Shine," "Every Last One," "Still Life with Bread Crumbs," "Miller’s Valley," and "Alternate Side" — and nine books of nonfiction. Her memoir, "Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake," published in 2012, was a #1 New York Times bestseller. Her book "A Short Guide to a Happy Life" has sold more than a million copies.

A Conversation with Anna Quindlen is a ticketed event. Ticket prices include a choice of book:

The two-day Bucks County Book Festival will feature events for book lovers young and old. Events will include author panels, book signings, writers’ and illustrators’ workshops, a Kids Book Fest, a Fire Prevention Open House, Books ‘N Brew, vendors, and more. Most events are free.
