Another Bear Sighting Reported In Central Bucks County
Bear sightings this spring have also been reported in Solebury Township and in and around Peace Valley Park in New Britain Township.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA - Another bear sighting has been reported in Central Bucks County, this time in Plumstead Township.
A resident posted a photo on Facebook of a bear cub in a tree Tuesday night in the Valley Park Road section of the township. The cub was seen around 10:15 p.m.
“Please be careful driving!! I would hate for another bear to be hit and killed. Pennsylvania Gaming Commission was notified,” the poster wrote.

The comment refers to a bear that was struck and killed on the Route 611 Bypass in late May. The bear had previously been reported foraging through backyards and raiding bird feeders in sections of Doylestown Township
