Another Pride Flag Stolen From Doylestown Borough Business: Police

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Another pride flag has been stolen in the borough, this time ripped from the front of a business located on East Oakland Avenue in Doylestown Borough.

According to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, the theft occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on June 11 at the Volume One hair salon owned by Christy Cavanaugh. The video shows a man removing the flag from the front of the store.

According to police, the suspect has curly, shoulder-length hair and was wearing a hat, glasses, shorts, and a light-colored shirt.

The theft happened a week after two pride flags were stolen from Evolution Candy on East State Street. Sometime overnight on June 3 and again on June 4 pride flags were stolen from the store.

Both business owners said they are not deterred by the thefts and have pledged to replace the banners when they are taken.
