Applebee's Closes Its Doors At The Barn Plaza In Doylestown
A sign on the door reads, "This location is permanently closed. We are proud to serve you at one of our other close locations."

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — "Eatin' Good In The Neighborhood" just got a little harder to do in the Doylestown area.
Applebee's, which brands itself as a Neighborhood Grill and Bar, has closed its doors at the Barn Plaza in Doylestown Township where it had been located since 1998.
A sign on the door reads, "This location is permanently closed. We are proud to serve you at one of our other close locations." The sign then directs patrons to visit the chain's other sites in Newtown, Jenkintown, Lansdale, Quakertown and Southampton.

The Applebee's signs have already been removed from the free-standing building, which is located in the parking lot of the shopping center near the former site of Marshall's/Home Goods. Marshall's recently relocated to the Cross Keys Place shopping center in Plumstead.
