Applebee's to Give Free Veterans Day Meal to Service Members

Applebee’s will once again be giving out a free meal to current and former service members this Veterans Day.
This is the sixth year the restaurant chain has offered the free meal. Veterans Day is Tuesday, Nov. 11.

“We know our neighborhood is full of men and women who have served, and currently serve, to protect this great nation,” said Jeff Warden, CEO of The Rose Group, which owns several area Applebee’s. “We’re so thankful for these neighbors and thrilled to show our gratitude again this year by serving free meals to our military heroes on Veterans Day.”
Veterans can choose from the following menu items:

- 7 oz. House Sirloin
- American Standard All-In Burger
- Double Crunch Shrimp
- Three-Cheese Chicken Penne
- Fiesta Lime Chicken
- Chicken Tenders Platter
- Oriental Chicken Salad
Guests will need to provide proof of service, which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.
Offer is valid for dine-in only. Traditional sides are included with the free entrees.
