Attorney General To Discuss Vaping, Drugs At CB South Event
The Feb. 25 event will feature presentations from the Attorney General and others, as well as Narcan training and distribution.
WARRINGTON, PA — The Pennsylvania Attorney General will be speaking during a special community event in Warrington on vaping and drugs. The informational event is Monday, Feb. 25 at Central Bucks High School South.
In addition to the presentation by Attorney General Josh Shapiro, the Bucks County District Attorney will speak, as well as people providing first-hand stories about the impacts of addiction.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and will begin with the chance to review tables with various resources. Attendees can check out the "Behind Closed Doors Mock Teen Bedroom" provided by Bensalem Police Department.

"Adults are encouraged to tour the room which depicts what parents should know/look for including possible warning signs of drug/alcohol use, mental health concerns, unhealthy relationships and at-risk adolescent behaviors," event organizers said.
There will be a Vaping Prevention Workshop to teach parents about what to look for, and how to identify vaping/e-cigarette products.

There will also be a segment on Narcan training and distribution. Participants will learn how to identify an opiate overdose and when/how to administer Narcan. You must pre-register to receive one box of Narcan per household. Click here pre-register.
Presentations begin at 6:30 p.m. Speakers include Shapiro, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub, law enforcement, families who have been impacted by addiction and others.
Following the presentations, there will be a question and answer panel.
