Authorities ID Motorcyclists Killed In Bucks Co. Crash
The men, one from Perkasie and the other from Lansdale, were killed in the Sunday afternoon crash in Bucks County.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Authorities have identified the two motorcyclists who were killed in a crash in Bucks County on Sunday, after they were hit by a pick-up truck in Nockamixon Township.
The victims have have identified as Stephen Yothers, of Perkasie and Vincent Nielsen, of Lansdale. Both men were 54.
They were wearing helmets but were thrown from their bikes, the Morning Call reported.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash, which occurred near Palisades High School, happened shortly after 2 p.m. on Durham Road.

Authorities said a teen driving a pick up truck south on Durham Road drove into a ditch off the side of the roadway. She then got back onto the road but crossed over into the northbound lanes, crashing head-on with the two motorcycles drivers, authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
