Babysitter Charged With Indecent Assault In Doylestown Borough

Police launched an investigation after a resident told police that their sensitive-aged child reported sexual abuse by their babysitter.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A 19-year-old Quakertown woman has been charged with indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and corruption of a minor.

While employed as a babysitter at a Doylestown home, the Central Bucks Regional Police Department said Camryn Leigh Taylor admitted to inappropriate contact with a child in her care.

Police launched an investigation after a resident told police that their sensitive-aged child reported sexual abuse by their babysitter.

Police said the child reported details of inappropriate contact with Taylor, at her instruction, in the home on several occasions during the past year. Taylor instructed the child not to tell anyone, police said.

When interviewed by detectives, police said Taylor admitted to the activity.

Taylor was arraigned, bail was set at 10 percent $50,000 with conditions and she was released.
