“BBQ Brunch has been in the works for quite some time and we’re stoked to be starting off the new year with this new venture,” said Peters. “Texas-style barbecue is rooted in specific fundamentals and traditions that we take seriously, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for growth and innovation. 2023 is going to be a big year for Holy ‘Que Smokehouse.”
Owned and operated by Pitmaster Tom Peters, Holy ‘Que Smokehouse has been a hit with locals and visitors of nearby Peddler’s Village since opening in November 2020.
Peters is a self-taught Pitmaster who spent six years perfecting the art of Texas-style barbecue following a trip to Austin, Texas where he was inspired by the craft and blown away by the simplicity of this particular cuisine which incorporates three elements: salt, pepper, and smoke. Peters’ menu is heavily influenced by traditional BBQ – incorporating smoked meats, classic sides, and decadent sweet treats typically found in the southern states.
Holy ‘Que Smokehouse operates Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. or until sold out. BBQ Brunch will be available during service every Sunday starting on January 8.
