BHHS Fox and Roach HomExpert 2014 Year-end Report for the Lehigh Valley

Property sales in the Lehigh Valley area in 2014 decreased 2.1 percent from the previous year.

According to a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report, there were 6,585 properties that closed in 2014, compared with 6,727 from the year before. In October of 2012 that number was 5,748.

The median price of the properties that did sell in 2014 was consistent with the same period in 2013, at $169,900. In 2012, the median price was $165,000.

The average days on the market decreased by 1.3 percent from 75 to 74 days between 2013 and 2014.
