Big Changes Afoot At Doylestown Brewing Company

Soon, you'll be able to get Doylestown Brewing Company beer as far away as Texas.

Some big changes are in the works for the Doylestown Brewing Company. The local brewery says it is scaling back its restaurant operations and going full steam ahead on expanding the brand and distribution footprint.

According to an announcement from the local brewing company, The Hops Bar and Grill has been renamed as The Tasting Room, and will feature beers made by Doylestown Brewing Company as well as other "notable" Pennsylvania crafts beers, wines and spirits. A limited food menu will feature pub snacks, including wings, egg rolls and more.

This change is being made so the brewery can focus on widening distribution footprint, according to an announcement from the brewery.

"This year we will take the DBC brand halfway across the country and we can't be any more excited about that. But for us to continue the growth of the brewery we need to scale back our restaurant operations.
